 Location: I will be recording at Hortt Park, a local park near me! I will also be recording at my friend, Mika's house for the opening scenes since she lives behind the park!

Health and Safety:
  For the most part, most of these scenes will take place in a neighborhood park, but in the case of an emergency, we will all travel in groups of 2 or 3 when filming outside. Additionally, all parties of the group will have access to a cell phone at all times to call 911. I also carry a first aid kit in my car just in case anything ever happens.


Schedule:

Feb. 1, 2024 -> Feb. 4, 2024 - Planning out the different camera angles for the different scenes to make them more thrilling

Feb. 7, 2024 - This will be the first day of filming. Mostly will be experimenting with different camera angles and seeing if the plan needs to be adjusted to fit the pitch better. More than likely, we will get the scenes that take place at Mika's house done.

Feb. 19, 2024 -> Feb. 23, 2024 - This will be when the filming for the rest of the opening sequence will take place. Specifically the scenes of May walking to the park and meeting Mika

Feb. 26, 2024 -> March 12, 2024 - As soon as all of the shots are done and recorded, editing will start immediately. This big time frame allows for any retakes to take place. Will be editing with Sony Vegas Pro.

  Hi guys!! It's Eva again! I just wanted to update you guys on my commercial and how it's going! So, I finally decided which editing software I want to use. I was thinking about using CapCut originally since it was something I heard my friends using, but I decided to use iMovie instead. I've already previously used iMovie for similar projects, so I'm somewhat familiar with it. Plus, iMovie is just something I have easy access to since it comes on my Apple products!  I know that in my last post I said that I was hoping to bring at least a few clips I decided on DEFINITELY using in my commercial, and I did! Though I still need to figure out how I'm going to put it all together for it to flow nicely, I finally have some of the clips and videos I'm going to use. Of course, I still want to record some bits for the commercial, so I'm missing those clips too. Some of the clips I chose to use are mostly live photos from some of my most precious and notable moments.

Reflection on Commercial

       Hi guys! We finally all finished our commercials and I am so proud with the way mine turned out! I learned a lot throughout this commercial, I learned how to use iMovie and got a lot more comfortable compared to when I first started this project.      To start off with, I learned how to use iMovie, Voice Recorder on my iPhone, and other apps for recording and picture taking. With iMovie I learned how to do a lot and I can't even begin to describe how much time I spent on YouTube learning how to navigate iMovie. I learned how to add music and combine clips, as well as adding transitions and adding text to the clips. I also learned that I had a Voice Recorder app on my phone this whole time which I thought was kinda silly. It allowed me to easily record audio clips that I can insert into my commercial super easy! Music Video Conventions

   Hi guys!! I hope you guys are all doing well! For my music video, I wanted to talk about the conventions in Alternative R&B. Since the song I chose, "Good Days" by SZA, is Alternative R&B, I looked at songs within the same genre to see if there was a common theme between them all. Not only did I encounter a bunch of new music I enjoyed, I also found a bunch of similarities between the music videos. In all of the Alternative R&B music videos I watched, the theme of "good vibes" was always conveyed somehow. For example, in SZA's music video, she's in a sort of wonderland. She dances and seems to be just enjoying herself in this wonderland. Of course, this could be obvious though since the song's name is "Good Days." Another example of the theme of "good vibes" being expressed is in Steve Lacy's "Bad Habit," in which he appears to be in an empty room just having fun. He dances to himself as he wears some cool
