Storyboard

   Hi guys!! I finally finished my storyboard! It took a lot of time to put it together and I really hope the production goes as planned! Of course, this storyboard may not be what the final product will look like, but this is what I have for my vision!

Box 1:

 In the first scene, the main character (mc) wakes up and crosses out the date on the calendar. The day will be marked with "BIRTHDAY." 

Box 2:

 In the second scene, we see an over the shoulder shot of the mc getting ready to go to celebrate her birthday with her family!

Box 3:

 In the third scene, we get a point of view shot of a car window. The mc is now with her father and on the road to a surprise location to celebrate her birthday.

Box 4:

 In scene four, we are again shown a point of view shot of the mc and her family arriving the surprise location. It is a Japanese garden! Specifically, Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. The mc loves gardens.

Box 5:

 Scene 5 captures the mc's reaction in arriving to the "special location." The mc is captured with a face of excitement and joy. 

Box 6:

 In scene 6, the car is now in a parking spot, and the mc and her little sister are shown getting out of the car and rushing to the beautiful entrance.

Box 7:

  Scene 7 shows the awe both the little sister and mc are feeling. The back of their heads are both shown as they look into the distance (the entrance of the gardens).

Box 8:

 From here, most of the scenes capture the beauty of the gardens. Scene 8 captures a shot of the leaves of tall trees as the wind blows and the sun gleams through the branches.

Box 9:

 In scene 9, the mc is shown walking around different parts of the gardens. She is exploring different parts and many different things capture her attention.

Box 10:

 Abruptly, the aftermath of walking through gardens is shown with the mc sleeping in the car. 

Box 11:

  The surprise isn't over, though. In scene 11, the mc has arrived home and is now being led to the inside of her house blindfolded. Little does she know that the inside of the house is decorated with balloons all around and there is cake!

Box 12:

  In the final scene, we are given a close-up shot of the mc being sang happy birthday and blowing out a candle. After the candle is blown, the video ends.

This is it! I think that it's a pretty solid base for beginning the production of my music video! I hope you guys enjoy my storyboard and find it as interesting as I do!
