  1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? When deciding to use the song “Good Days” by SZA, I wanted to use my personal interpretation of the song to transform my surroundings into that interpretation. I feel as if the song means that everyone struggles to feel a connection to their surroundings every now and then. The way SZA is consistently seen bonding and connecting with nature really resonated with me. By using the peaceful and beautiful environment as my setting, I feel as though it represents the solution to a problem. Despite having had the option to record the music video at my local park, I still decided that I really wanted to make my music video unique to me.To accomplish that, I went to an amazing Japanese style Botanical garden, which I felt captured the message very clearly.  Hi everyone!!!! I'm super excited to finally be able to show you guys my final product!! I worked super hard on the editing and I put a lot of effort on this project. I really hope you guys enjoy this video as much as I do! I'm super proud of the way it turned out! Enjoy!

 Hi guys! As the edits I talked about in the last blog, not much changed since. I updated the video and added more effects and transitions. Along with better blending it with the song. Which I am very proud of my general, overall improvement since my last video. Since I upgraded editing software I felt like I was more free to express what I wanted to make. As iMovie is good, I believe it is for beginners and it has a road block once you learn all it has to offer. I upgraded to a product called Sony Vegas Pro (SVP), which one of my friends recommended. It was completely different from iMovie. It was a lot more of a editing style and was very hard to learn at first but my friend also showed me how to use it and I was even able to use transitions better and have it high quality. I did have problems with it rendering however. When I was rendering, it downscaled the quality by a bunch and I was very unsure why it was doing that.
