Production Blog: Day One
Hey guys!!! Today, I was supposed to begin recording some clips. I can only record so many clips since the garden most of the video is going to take place at is an hour away from me by car. I plan on going to the garden with my family on a date a bit closer to the due date of the music video. This way, I can get it all done on time.
In the meanwhile, I was going to begin recording the scenes in which I'm in a car. I can begin to record those since I have my own car to film in. I could also begin recording the scenes that record the mc's point of view as she looks out her car window. There isn't much for me to do at this point, especially since I don't really have to coordinate recording with others. In the music video, I will be the character the appears the most. In short, I will be my own mc.
Since I obviously can't record myself on my own, I'm having my younger brother, Gabriel, help me. Luckily, he's a decent videographer. The only issue with this is that I may not be wearing the same clothes as I will on the day I actually go to the gardens. This being said, I have to be superr careful to keep the outfit the same for the whole video.
I was a little hesitant on being my own main character; I thought it would be a bit tacky. Despite this, you gotta do what you gotta do. I thought it would be wayyyy more embarrassing to ask someone else to be my main character. I'm way too awkward to have that conversation seriously with someone LOL.
For the scenes capturing the bits of nature in the gardens, I want them to look like the ones presented in National Geographic. I'm definitely the most excited to record those clips. I'll insert a video by National Geographic so that you guys get the reference.
Other than that, I think that is all I can give for today's production blog! It wasn't a lot, but, like I said, I can't necessarily do much at the moment.
I hope to give you guys more of an update on the next blog!
Have a goodnight!
P.S. I the video linked below is an educational video about the desert, but notice the clips they capture of the desert!
