My Group for the Music Video

   Hi guys!!! I'm back with another post in relation to my music video!!

 Everyone in my class is working on their music video in a group, but I'm working alone. To be honest, I had a doctors appointment the day we chose groups and the people I wanted to work with ended up getting into a group LOL. However, I'm not upset at the idea of working alone. Working in a group can get quite complicated sometimes- especially when it comes to conflicting schedules. This being said, despite the workload being a bit bigger, I'm quite satisfied with working alone. I feel that by working alone, I'll be able to really make it my own. I don't necessarily have an issue with working in a group, but they both have their respective pros and cons. Besides, working alone doesn't mean that I can't ask my super awesome friends to help me with certain things!

  For the song I'll be using, I chose to use Good Days by SZA. Overall, the vibe of the song is really easy to create a story to. Throughout the duration of the song, there's a repetitive rhythm that's quite catchy and happy. I really like the instrumental of the song and I really think that this song will be the best choice for me! Plus, I plan on making a music video that will appeal people in my age range. Since Good Days is a really popular song amongst people in my age group it'll be quite easy to achieve this!

 Below, I will insert the instrumental version of the song so you guys can see the repetitive, catchy rhythm I keep talking about. It's actually so good!!! I'm so excited to create a storyline for a music video for this song!!! Despite the song being a little over two-years-old, it's still extremely popular. It definitely HAS to be that amazing (and super catchy) rhythm in the background.

Movie Research: Oppenheimer

Movie Research: Oppenheimer (2023) What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? -  Camera angles -> To convey the emotions of a certain character, many thriller movies tend to use camera angles. For example, in Oppenheimer, we see many scenes in which he is often being haunted by the reality of his creation. The guilt is illustrated by using dutch angles as well as zoom in shots to amplify and emphasize his emotions.  - Editing -> As well as using the camera angles to aid in conveying the overall mood of the character, in the movie we saw a lot of editing being a right hand for the camera angles. Specifically, we saw a lot of fade in/out scenes. In the same scene where we see Oppenheimer being overcome with the guilt he carries by the creation of his weapon, we see how he begins to imagine the power of his bomb in the room he was in.
