My Group

Hi guys!!! I'm back with another post in relation to my opening sequence!!

Everyone in my class is working on their project in a group, but I'm working alone. To be honest, I had a doctors appointment the day we chose groups and the people I wanted to work with ended up getting into a group LOL. However, I'm not upset at the idea of working alone. Working in a group can get quite complicated sometimes- especially when it comes to conflicting schedules. This being said, despite the workload being a bit bigger, I'm quite satisfied with working alone. I feel that by working alone, I'll be able to really make it my own. I don't necessarily have an issue with working in a group, but they both have their respective pros and cons. Besides, working alone doesn't mean that I can't ask my super awesome friends to help me with certain things!

In addition to having less possible obstacles by working alone, I also get a lot more creative liberty. You see, by working by myself, I'll get to experiment with any ideas I get. This can be super beneficial, especially for when picking out the plot and genre of the sequence. Despite the pros of working alone sounding plentiful, the fact of the matter is that the workload will be a lot bigger. Working in a group, you'd be able to divide the work between everyone and it'll be much easier to manage and accomplish. However, I think with enough dedication and persistence, I'll be able to do just fine with the workload by myself! Plus, as mentioned before, just because I'm working "alone" doesn't mean that I can't ask for help from others. At the end of the day, I may still need to ask my friends to play as main characters for my sequence.

In either case, I'm super excited to document my production journey on my blog! See you guys in my next update!
