Production Blog: Filming!
Hi guys!! I hope you're all having a great day so far!!! This weekend, me and Franshesca went to the gardens!! We got plenty of material and we also had plenty of fun!
To be honest, I'm so glad she was able to help me out with this project. Not only did she help me with the biggest part of my project, she also made the whole experience super fun for me!
To begin with, this garden was so beautiful. I've been to the garden once before, but wow. It somehow gets prettier every time I go. The plants were all green and healthy, and the flowers were all bloomed. I almost forgot we were in fall. I'll insert some pictures we took at the gardens!
As for the clips we shot, we recorded a bunch of closeups of the plants. We made an extra effort to also capture shots of the leaves and how the sun shined through them. I think we really did a good job with recording the nature portion of the video. We got closeups, long shots, point of view shots, and many more!
Earlier in the project, I was worried about how I'd be able to use different angles and shots when most of my project was just going to be plants. However, Franshesca and I made it work! We literally recorded everything we saw. To more accurately describe what we looked like, think of a YouTube vlogger. LOL!
Not only did we experiment with different angles for the plants, we got plenty of film to fill up the music video and to make up for the scenes that had to be cut due to the changes early on.
Thanks to Franshesca, the editing process will be much more easier for me. She really helped me make my new vision a reality!
I also made sure to ask Franshesca to record clips of me being interactive at the gardens. Since I'm still the main character, it was crucial to get clips of me enjoying my time at the gardens and looking at peace.
On my next blog, I'll be talking about the editing process! I can't wait to begin putting things together!!
Goodnight!!
