Last Production Blog: Final Touches

 Hi guys! As the edits

I talked about in the last blog, not much changed since. I updated the video and added more effects and transitions. Along with better blending it with the song. Which I am very proud of my general, overall improvement since my last video. Since I upgraded editing software I felt like I was more free to express what I wanted to make. As iMovie is good, I believe it is for beginners and it has a road block once you learn all it has to offer. I upgraded to a product called Sony Vegas Pro (SVP), which one of my friends recommended. It was completely different from iMovie. It was a lot more of a editing style and was very hard to learn at first but my friend also showed me how to use it and I was even able to use transitions better and have it high quality. I did have problems with it rendering however. When I was rendering, it downscaled the quality by a bunch and I was very unsure why it was doing that. I made sure the frames per second (FPS) and the bitrate was high but it still downscaled. Even my friend was confused. And thus, I had to head to YouTube and try to figure it out as the video was due soon and I need to have it rendered. I eventually solved the problem and I hope YouTube does not downscale the video and it is just as high quality from when I rendered it. Another thing I loved about the Sony Vegas Pro software was how versatile it was. I was able to download transitions and filters online that were either custom made or by SVP themselves! Which was super cool because I had unlimited options! I didn't want to overwhelm myself too much on a new program so I kept it simple yet I still challenged myself to improve on something I want to learn. In the end the project and learning a new software was a blast!

My next blog will be the actual music video!! I'm super excited to show it to you guys!!

Goodnight!!!
