Introduction to the Music Video

   Hi everyone! My name is Eva Lopez and I'm 17 years old! I was born in the United States and have lived in Florida my whole life. I'm fluent in two languages: Spanish and English. I'm currently in my last year of high school and hope to be attending the University of Florida after graduating! I plan on pursuing a career in the medical field. I specifically want to be a pediatrician! I have always loved kids and I work really well with them! However, for the time being, I'm a hostess at a restaurant near the beach. When I'm not at school (or work), I usually spend my time with my family. Occasionally, though, I spend time with my boyfriend! I rarely get to see my boyfriend anymore due to the fact that he's now a freshman at the University of Florida :(. My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a year now! It's always fun taking a field trip to go see him in Gainesville (despite the fact that I get carsick quite often). 

 My favorite class at the moment in school has to be my Media Studies class! The little details that go into film have always been extremely interesting to me! Plus, my teachers, Ms. Marchionne and Mr. Katz, always make the class a lot more fun! Recently, we were given an assignment in which we produce our own music video! I plan on using this blog to record my progress in the development of my video! 

 I can't wait to take you guys on this production journey with me! I'll post again soon!!

Hi guys! It's finally here!!! I finally present to you guys my final product! Though most of my blogs consisted of me just brainstorming, we had the ball moving little by little! I'm so proud of the way this project came out- I really tried my best to make this commercial as "Eva" as I could've.  Though, at times little obstacles with the editing and my health came along, we managed to finish the project! My Group for the Music Video

   Hi guys!!! I'm back with another post in relation to my music video!!  Everyone in my class is working on their music video in a group, but I'm working alone. To be honest, I had a doctors appointment the day we chose groups and the people I wanted to work with ended up getting into a group LOL. However, I'm not upset at the idea of working alone. Working in a group can get quite complicated sometimes- especially when it comes to conflicting schedules. This being said, despite the workload being a bit bigger, I'm quite satisfied with working alone. I feel that by working alone, I'll be able to really make it my own. I don't necessarily have an issue with working in a group, but they both have their respective pros and cons. Besides, working alone doesn't mean that I can't ask my super awesome friends to help me with certain things!   For the song I'll be using, I chose to use Good Days by SZA. Title Research: Split

1. What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?  The opening sequences of "Split" directed by M. Night Shyamalan, begins with multiple tiny black boxes that repeat all over the screen and in each of them show the credits and titles such as "Universal Pictures Presents", "In association with Blumhouse Productions", along with a few others in which they do the same to the Director of the movie and the title of the movie "Split" 2. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?  The biggest thing that is shown in the opening sequence is right off the bat, you see a guy instantly from the perspective of the girl in which he reaches over and grabs you. Already putting tension on the audience right off the bat they follow up with the opening sequence where all we see are the titles.
