Reflection on Commercial

     Hi guys! We finally all finished our commercials and I am so proud with the way mine turned out! I learned a lot throughout this commercial, I learned how to use iMovie and got a lot more comfortable compared to when I first started this project. 

    To start off with, I learned how to use iMovie, Voice Recorder on my iPhone, and other apps for recording and picture taking. With iMovie I learned how to do a lot and I can't even begin to describe how much time I spent on YouTube learning how to navigate iMovie. I learned how to add music and combine clips, as well as adding transitions and adding text to the clips. I also learned that I had a Voice Recorder app on my phone this whole time which I thought was kinda silly. It allowed me to easily record audio clips that I can insert into my commercial super easy! It is something that I can definitely find myself using again. I also learned some stuff with my camera on my phone! I learned that I can record in 120 fps (frames per second) and in high quality (I couldn't really see the quality difference with the final product but it was definitely something that was cool that I wanted to include).

    I also learned a lot with the making of the project. I learned that planning it out and having set goals and deadlines every day made this very easy to complete and It made it a very relaxing experience! It was super cool and I thought editing was a super cool activity to learn and work on as a project. Especially since it was all about me and I basically could add whatever I saw a part of my core self in. Whether it were silly pictures from band or work! I also found it super cool to learn about new things that I could be using all the time but I was too scared to use it because it was intimidating. Overall, it made it a super fun experience that I honestly want to do more of!

    I think I could do better as this project was a learning experience as a whole. With learning a bunch of new things while trying to complete a project was definitely a hefty task! But I believe if I were to restart with all the skills that I have now, I could make it 2 times better! However, I believe that finding a music choice was one of my hardest tasks, I tried using band as one of my music choices since I really love that performance and it means a lot to me. Other than that the other music choice was just some Free use music that was not copyright. I believe that was something that I could definitely improve on. The other one also has to be my transitions and editing overall. I believe that I could have done better in that area but other than that I believe I deserve a pat on the back because I loved the final product!

   But yeah!! I just wanted to take the time to thoroughly look back on this experience as a whole. Again, I really hope you guys enjoyed the final product just as much as I did! I hope you guys have a great night!

My Group for the Music Video

   Hi guys!!! I'm back with another post in relation to my music video!!  Everyone in my class is working on their music video in a group, but I'm working alone. To be honest, I had a doctors appointment the day we chose groups and the people I wanted to work with ended up getting into a group LOL. However, I'm not upset at the idea of working alone. Working in a group can get quite complicated sometimes- especially when it comes to conflicting schedules. This being said, despite the workload being a bit bigger, I'm quite satisfied with working alone. I feel that by working alone, I'll be able to really make it my own. I don't necessarily have an issue with working in a group, but they both have their respective pros and cons. Besides, working alone doesn't mean that I can't ask my super awesome friends to help me with certain things!   For the song I'll be using, I chose to use Good Days by SZA. Title Research: Split

1. What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?  The opening sequences of "Split" directed by M. Night Shyamalan, begins with multiple tiny black boxes that repeat all over the screen and in each of them show the credits and titles such as "Universal Pictures Presents", "In association with Blumhouse Productions", along with a few others in which they do the same to the Director of the movie and the title of the movie "Split" 2. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?  The biggest thing that is shown in the opening sequence is right off the bat, you see a guy instantly from the perspective of the girl in which he reaches over and grabs you. Already putting tension on the audience right off the bat they follow up with the opening sequence where all we see are the titles.
