Production Blog: Planning
Hi guys!! It's Eva again! I just wanted to update you guys on my commercial and how it's going! So, I finally decided which editing software I want to use. I was thinking about using CapCut originally since it was something I heard my friends using, but I decided to use iMovie instead. I've already previously used iMovie for similar projects, so I'm somewhat familiar with it. Plus, iMovie is just something I have easy access to since it comes on my Apple products!
I know that in my last post I said that I was hoping to bring at least a few clips I decided on DEFINITELY using in my commercial, and I did! Though I still need to figure out how I'm going to put it all together for it to flow nicely, I finally have some of the clips and videos I'm going to use. Of course, I still want to record some bits for the commercial, so I'm missing those clips too. Some of the clips I chose to use are mostly live photos from some of my most precious and notable moments. I also chose to use some videos from band! The videos I chose of band are from last year, but a commercial about me would be far from accurate if I didn't include my best moments in band. I'm actually so happy about including the videos of me in band. Overall, I'm super excited about the clips and videos I have so far for the commercial, and I can't wait for the final product!
For the clips that I've yet to record, I'm planning on making them little tiny snippets of me doing random things that I do normally. For example, me driving to work or me at school in my AICE Media Studies class. ALSO, I absolutely want to do that shot of me at the end where I'm shot from a low angle in a superman pose. I NEED to get that shot of me in the commercial. I think that it adds the most important bit of my personality - my silliness. LOL.
I know that this was a rather short update for you guys, but trust me- I'm progressing majorly in this!
For my next update, I hope to have had at least started putting things together on iMovie! I'm so excited!!!!!!
Have a goodnight!!
P.S. Here are some clips that will definitely be featured in my commercial :)
